Dear Masters,
We would like to officially invite you to the upcoming 2023 Master’s Retreat this Oct. 18th -22nd. Grand Master Troy Burleson will be hosting this year’s retreat at his facility at 4045 Black Ranch Road, Lead Hill, Arkansas, 72644. Nestled in the beautiful Ozark mountains not far from Harrison, AR, and Branson, MO.
This exclusive invitation is for 7th, 8th, and 9th-degree black belt masters who have trained with us and are interested in the fellowship, teaching, and training methods that we employ in a neutral and non-political environment. Our Motto: “Life is very short. For most of us, the days we have in front of us are much less than the days we have behind us. Let the past be the past; let’s find a way to move forward”.
Our goal is the following:

To re-connect with many long-time friends in Taekwon-Do.

To share important ideas that will govern many represented organizations.

To enjoy the beautiful Ozark Mountains and Bull Shoals Lake area.

To have fun, 4-wheeling, shooting, campfires, training, and great food.
This year we will be offering seminars each day to anyone who is interested in participating.
We will also be hosting two special events during this gathering.
RUSSIA TEAM REUNION - As this marks the 30th anniversary of our participation in the GTF’s International Goodwill Games in Moscow, Russia, we will be inviting those participants (and their spouses) to a reunion on Friday and Saturday of the Retreat. Since we will be including spouses and non-masters in the reunion, space at GM Burleson’s will fill up fast.
MASTERS’ BLACK BELT TESTING – Any Masters who have been invited to test at this time and wish to invite others to attend the testing will need to let their guests know they will need to secure lodging in the area. (Diamond City, Harrison, Branson – or the CTF Lodge is available). If you are planning on inviting guests, we will need to know if any will be staying for dinner (there will be a minimal $10 charge to cover the cost of that meal.)
All Masters have 1st option for staying onsite, but in order to guarantee you a bed, we will need you to reserve your spots by August 26th as we will then be issuing the invitations for the Reunion.
Items to bring (Recommended)-

Outdoor clothing. Potentially cool weather this time of year, but maybe warm. Dress for both.

If you are staying at GM Burleson’s, bedding is provided but you will need to bring your own towels.

Workout gear, workout clothes, and your dress uniform for pictures and the testing.

Personal Firearms and ammo (long guns & handguns). Please arrive with no “hot weapons” for additional safety. (No rounds in the chamber of your weapons please)

Personal snacks and/or refreshments.

ATV, if you have one, bring it.

Please register online at www.bahardtarget.net as soon as you can. Prompt registration will help us guarantee you a room on the premises. If you fail to register by August 26th, we can no longer guarantee you a bed. A nominal $130 fee per person is charged to cover food and lodging expenses at the conference and includes all seminars and activities. If you are not staying on the premises, there is a $50 fee to cover meals during the conference.
